Wanted Women for Self-employment - Coke-TESDA S3TAR Program

Attention all women, City of Bogo Job Placement and Career Center and the Bogo Lites Center are looking for women who want to become sari-sari store owners and good entrepreneurs in the future.

Yes, you read it right! They are looking for women not to be employeed in sari-sari stores, but to become entreprenuers with their own retail stores.

The Bogo Lites Center, a recognized and accredited training center of TESDA, led by Mayor Junie Martinez together with Municipality of Balamban, TESDA Officials and Coca Cola Officials led by Atty. Adel Tamano and the Cebu Federation of Women's Club Inc signed last September 18, 2012 at Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City the Memorandum of Agreement to implement the "Coke-TESDA S3TAR Program" here in the province of Cebu.

S3TAR means Sari-Sari Store Training and Access to Resources. This program aims to help women sari-sari store owners become better entrepreneurs through the
(1) provision of formal training on Basic Entrepreneur Skills and Gender Sensitivity;
(2) facilitation of access to product-capital; and
(3) giving access to store merchandising equipment.

This program will only target 1,000 women for the entire province of Cebu. So hurry, inquire now at the Bogo Lites Center.
